I graduated from UCLA back in 1990
with a BS degree in Applied Math
Specializing in Computer Science. I began programming professionally immediately after
graduation for my first employer. In 1992 I came back to UCLA and became a Programmer
/Analyst for the Space Science Center (SSC) where
I was the Lead Programmer for the FAST
Magnetometer Team, and a programmer for projects requiring interactive
windows based programs such as Cassini and
Polar projects.
Currently I am now working at
JPL
(Jet Propulsion Laboratory) where I am the Lead DCE System Developer
(DCE
Distributed Computing Environment). This system is in place now to support the
DSN
(Deep Space Network) for NASA
which requires our system to span the globe to support the DSN ground stations.
Other tasks I handle include updating and maintaining system software,
helping to develop and maintain the Web pages, UNIX & NT system administration
work and system support for our users.
